Tuesday Tip O' the Day

Okay, for those of you who are new here - last week I started the "Tuesday Tip O' the Day", using a "Household Tips and Hints" book from 1959 as my source.

Since it's Tuesday, I think you know what time it is!!!

Today's tip:

"Never do your housework in a trailing housecoat and mules. Such apparel will not only tire you but it is dangerous. You may trip over them or catch your sleeves on pot handles."

So, I'm guessing an outfit like this wouldn't be what one would wear to clean house??

I guess it's a good thing I clean in sweatpants.

Check back next Tuesday for another tip!

Did you see the price on that pattern?! I bought one last week (a toddler pattern w/4 sizes) and it was almost $10.00. I thought sewing was supposed to save you money like it did back then!

Thanks for the tip on cleaning. I will let my hubby know since he is the house cleaner in this marriage! I think he would look great in that outfit!

I barely wear dresses like that to Church on Sunday mornings! HA!
