We found out yesterday that Ande's dad Jerry has prostate cancer. Fortunately it was found early and should be highly treatable. Even so, cancer is a very scary word for anyone to hear, and I know Ande's family would really appreciate your prayers.
Just some miscellaneous ramblings from a full time mom and a part time wannabe humorist....

We've got a potty pooper in the house!
No, not PARTY pooper, a POTTY pooper! We've been working on potty training Puckey for months now, and she's done great with the pee part, but the other....not so much.
This morning, for the third time in about a week, she has gone in, on her own, and pooped in the potty. YAY!!! (Unlike my not-so-favorite "celeb" couple Jon & Kate, I will NOT be taking pictures of it.) Hopefully that means she has conquered whatever fear it was that was keeping her from being able to go, and she is now officially potty trained.
It never ceases to amaze me, as a parent, how excited I can get over poop. Had you said that to me 15 years ago, I would have laughed in your face! LOL

Tuesday Tip O' the Day
A little inaugural tip-
Pray for our nation and our new president. Even if he's not the guy you would have chosen for the job. I think it's even MORE important than ever for us to pray for our leadership in this country.
Oh, and if you live where there's lots of snow - if your kids play outside with your sled in the snow, make sure they put it away when they're done. Otherwise it might get snowed on AGAIN and then you won't be able to find it when your daughter wants to go sledding with her Girl Scout troop. Not that I'm speaking from personal experience or anything....
