I'm not even sure what he was measuring. We had recently gone to bed, then Jibby woke up coughing, so he got up and tended to her. Then a few minutes later I heard the door to the garage close. When he came back to our room, I asked him what he was doing and that was the answer I got. He's goofy. I think it had something to do with a project he's working on - you know how it is when you start thinking about something and just have to do it right away instead of waiting?!?
Frankly, I think he WANTED me to ask, that's why he said it that way. He also thinks it's VERY cool that I added his quote to my blog. What a silly husband I have!

What was he measuring? Did he awaken from a sound sleep and think of it at that moment and decide to do it before he forgot?
