A new opportunity!

Have any of you heard of the website PayPerPost? I just found it the other day while blog surfing, and decided to give it a try. Basically, what you do is write posts to your blog reviewing specified items, and you get paid by the company whose product/service you are endorsing. It doesn't cost anything, and the offers are listed directly on the PayPerPost site. It shows what opportunities are available, as well as what the qualifications are.

There are a few rules - there can be no "blogging for money" sites (sites solely for the purpose of making money), there has to be a non-sponsored post before and after each paid post, the general content of the blog cannot contain excessive swearing or other inappropriate content, etc. The full details can be found at the site, which can be found here: payperpost.

I'm really excited about the chance to get to earn some extra money doing something I already love to do! Because we are on such a tight budget here at home, any earnings I make will go towards household expenses, but after that....the list is nearly endless! Getting to take the kids out to eat, to the movies, on VACATION?!?! These are all things that we rarely (and by rarely, I mean pretty much NEVER) get to do now, but may be within our reach soon!

I look forward to sharing more with you about this opportunity as time goes on, and if you're interested in learning more, there will be a link at the bottom of this post for you to review MY post, and to sign up to try it yourself!

That sounds really intriguing....

I am going to let you be the guinea pig, but you never know, I may take the plunge too, if you like it!

Hi Julie,
That sounds like it could be worthwhile, as well as fun. Definitely keep me in the loop and let me know how it goes for you.

I love the picture on the tricycle. Thank GOD none of mine have tried that one ... yet.

And stupid blog question (I'm so not up to speed yet!): how do you make it so that your blog has a pretty link to go where you want to direct people vs having the actual URL show up in your post?

And of course -- thanks for stopping by!
