Check-ups

Well, the babies had check-ups yesterday (Puckey, 2yr and Jib 7 mo). My little Puckey is 34 1/2 inches tall and 26 lbs. The Jib is 28 inches tall and a whopping 19 lbs 11 oz. Yup, it's official - she's a chunky monkey. I think most of the weight is in her head - it's 18 inches around, only 1 inch smaller than Puckey's!!

wow your girls are growing all too fast. . . . I love the nicknames, how did you come up with them? Victoria is growing nicely. She will be 7mo on Saturday, and crawling at an alarming rate of speed. Right now she is trying to figure out how to crawl on her hands and knees, I think once she masters it the army crawl will be over! I am praying that she won't have withdrawls from the kids when they all go back to school next week. She has everyone wrapped around her little finger, when she makes a peep they all run. Fortunately it will just be 1/2 days for Colson so he will still be around to tend to her wishes! LOL Lets try and get together here soon, once school is underway. Maybe some morning we can meet at Macs and let your little Pukey play while we visit?

I know, I can't believe how big they are either. I thought it was so funny how much bigger Jib was than Tori, too - she's a day younger than her but looks like she's about 2 months older!

Puckey nicknamed both herself and Jib. When Puckey was a baby, we called her Monkey, and when she started talking she called herself Puckey, so it stuck. As for Jib, her nickname was going to be Jillybean, but Puckey couldn't say that, she could only say Jibbygee. So now it's morphed into just Jib.

I was amazed when I saw your post that Tori was crawling already - Jib still only does the compass thing where she lays on her belly and rotates in circles. I know what you mean about the babies having everyone wrapped around their fingers - it's the same way here. When Jib cries, even Puckey comes to see what's wrong.

Yes, meeting at Mac would be great - it's cheap and there's somewhere for Puckey to play. Sounds like a plan. Now to just pick a day and time...
