C'mon get CRAFTY...

So, I saw an idea the other day on eBay and thought, I can make that...and for WAY less than $20 PLUS shipping...

Valentine's Shoes for Puckey

Ande's first whole day home from California was yesterday, and this is how he spent much of the day.

Hangin with Daddy

Little did we know that Puckey's extra-snuggliness (I know that's not a word, so sue me) was due to an apparent allergic reaction to an antibiotic she had taken for an ear infection. Now the poor kid is covered in spotchy red marks.

Poor Sick Puckey

Then, I found out that my cousin was having her baby shower tomorrow (Saturday). Being that we don't have a lot of $$ to spend, I decided to drag out the sewing machine and make some stuff...

Girlie ones for Mom to use...

Some basketball themed ones for when Daddy's holding her....

Hopefully my cousin will like them. I was feeling pretty crafty after getting them done (and to think, I didn't even start them until today. It's amazing what I can do when I set my mind to it...)

Hey way too adorable shoes. Girls are such fun to dress and accessorize. Great idea I think I am going to drag out a pair of Tori's shoes and try that one. Thanks for the great idea. Maybe you should buy up some shoes/decorate and sell on ebay! You might make yourself some serious $$$$.

I just love shots of dads with their kids snuggling. Victoria looked like your little one as she also had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic.

Way cool on the baby items you made! You are so creative. I love gifts like that because I know they were made with love and care. The bib is a nice big size too.

Thanks! The shoes were pretty easy, although I would suggest a curved needle to sew the buttons on, I think that would make it easier.

I felt so bad for Puckey yesterday when she woke up. Fortunately, she doesn't seem to be too itchy, so that's good.

I got the idea for the burp cloths from Amanda (remember she made some for me for my baby shower for Puckey) - I just changed them up a bit. The bib was a first-time thing, but I thought it turned out okay. I've sold some burp cloths on eBay before, I should get more of those made up to sell...

Super cute stuff! You are a quick worker with your sewing machine, huh? There's no way to make boys' shoes that cute...oh well.

The snuggling pic is cute, how was Ande's trip? Obviously the girls were happy to have him home. Too bad about the allergic reaction at least its not itchy...
