I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength...

To my sweet and faithful readers - one more prayer request...

I am going to visit the funeral home this evening to offer support and comfort to my friend Todd and his family. If you would, please pray that I will be able to discrern when to speak, when to listen, and when to leave. Pray that when I speak, I won't say anything that would hurt or offend them. I want to be a blessing to this family in their time of loss, but have never really done this before all by myself and frankly I am a little nervous.

Thanks to all of you who have faithfully answered my requests - it really means a lot to me!

Will do Julie. God will give you the right words to say.

Though I read this late, know that I continue to pray for your friend. I also pray in the days that come, that you may be a blessing to him and his family

Dear Julie, It is difficult to go to a funeral for a child. God gave you strength to be there. I am sure you were able to tell your friends exactly what they needed to hear. You took the time to be there for them as well. I am sure your they were comforted by your actions as well.

I think the sugar rush got to me last night when I posted that last comment. I think I meant to say that your friends were more than likely comforted by the fact that you were there for them in their time of need.

Anyway...that really delicous tart recipe is here:

Very easy to make. I also made this in a regular pie pan since I don't have a tart pan. If came out just fine.
